A glorious day

The day started a bit cloudy but gradually warmed up to the most beautiful weather so much so that even though there are better photos I had to use this one of sister in law Sarah, the far away splash, swimming in Loch Fyne.  

V went off to Inveraray in the morning with the car on a low loader to get a new tyre fixed as we dumped the idea of going into Glasgow to see the Burrell collection but actually it was all for the best given the sun. I sat outside the restaurant and drank a beer and then was joined by V and Alexis for an impromptu delicious lunch.  @xtoph and S arrived and we set off for a walk without expectation of swimming but when we saw the beach we stripped off, just enough,  and swam. It really was lovely 

Then this evening the joy of another Inver dinner including the most lovely halibut and black lentils with pickled roses.  Absolutely beautiful.  

Very lovely evening.
