I used to have teachers like this

A wee trip to Scotland Street School ,for the first time.
A fascinating place for folks my age especially.
I saw the Lochgelly tawse and oh that brought back memories.
One in particular was when we were in Johnny Robertson's class and Alan Taylor and I were talking.
Johnny threw the wooden duster at us and we ducked.
Unfortunately a girl called Alison was sitting behind us and the missile hit her square on the face.
As the Jannie carried her to the nurse we got 6 of the belt for ducking.
Nae human rights in these days :)
