Obligatory cow picture

I had a nice quiet morning with my mom today. This afternoon we drove up to the little town of Centennial about 6 miles up the road. A friend was playing jazz at one of the bars up there in a lovely outdoor setting among the Aspen. A bunch of friends from Laramie came up to visit and listen. Mom came too and it was so nice since she knows most of my friends. It was a great afternoon.
Coming back to Mom's I realized I hadn't taken a picture so thankfully the cows were all hanging around the turn off into her place. I made sure I got the cattle guard included in the picture. For those of you who don't know the cattle are afraid to cross the grate that is on the ground. In some places they can just paint white and black stripes on the road and they won't cross it.
