Surprise!

I am a compulsive collector of roses and if I can take a cutting and grow it on I do!
I have had a couple of roses growing by the wood store and only one of them has been flowering - until now! Peeking out from behind the greenhouse is this beauty!
I think it may be a cutting that my sister in law gave me many years ago. Why it has never flowered I’m not sure, except that possibly it’s been continually cut back by mistake.
However I’m very pleased to see it now. I have had a quick look online to try and identify it, but there are several possibilities so I will check my many books. And I may take a cutting or two….
