Rock rose

I've posted photos of our rock roses before but this is my favourite flower in the garden at present so I had to post it.
The flowers are very short-lived as they open with the sunlight and once the sun leaves them the petals fall. They get lots of flowers though. This one has had a flowering period which ended and now it's started another.
Extra is of our back garden today - baking hot! We've ventured out for really short periods of time, preferring to sit indoors with the shutters angled for shade and the windows open a little to let some air move through.
Feels like the hottest day this year.
Spent a lot of the day reading and not doing a lot!
Shoulder improving still but can't do much yet - partly because of pain but more because I don't want to risk causing damage to it while it's still recovering from the procedure.
