Christmas Cactus bud from last week now bloomed.

A bit of cheer as I looked out first thing onto another dreich morning.

(Dreich = Old Scots word. A combination of dull, overcast, drizzly, cold, misty and miserable weather. At least 4 of the these adjectives must apply before the weather is truly dreich!)

Though apparently the sun may bless us with an appearance this afternoon....
