Ways with Words

We went to the Ways with Words book festival at Totnes just to sit in the gardens and enjoy the atmosphere. The chairs are conducive to reading and dozing. I prefer The Big Sleep but Jacqui likes The Garden Party by Katherine Mansfield. Between talks there is no one around to disturb you. We went into Totnes first to buy something special in a small jewellers. The shopkeeper was still shaking he said after a shocking incident on the pavement outside about 30 minutes ago. . A woman had tried to pull  the mask off a stranger passing by, because she objected to anyone wearing a mask. Shocking.
