Wattle…… Winter Gold?

Out walking with Maisie early this morning. We passed this solitary Wattle tree…… bursting into flower. Such an intense colour and I love the structure and texture of the flowers. A bright burst of colour on a cold grey morning. We have had a very cold easterly wind all afternoon.
I visited Keith in the late afternoon. He has some wonderful nursing staff caring for him. We are very grateful to them.
