Yellow ..........

............ and pretty - FlowerFriday8_2022  (FF08_2022)  -  late for my own challenge again.

Had a so-called "training day" with colleagues today - let's just say the lunch was good!!   Lol.

Unusual Fact of the Day:

In Ohio, USA, if you are convicted of two drink-driving offences, a judge has the discretion to force you to have yellow licence plates on your car if you have limited driving privileges  (the normal plates are, I think, blue and white)- these cannot be removed until your driving licence is fully reinstated.

Whilst I think this is a good idea, I'm a little surprised that anyone is allowed to drive at all after a drink-driving conviction - especially if it's a second or more offence.
In the UK they impose a mandatory minimum 12 months driving ban on a first offence (which can be reduced to nine months if you successfully complete a particular course as ordered by the court).
The DR10 (conviction) shows on your licence for 11 years but is considered 'spent' after 5 years and MUST be declared to an insurance company when applying for car insurance.

Here endeth your free legal consultation.    :o))
