First attempt

I taught myself how to use the timer on my phone!  At lunch earlier this week we had to get a passing stranger to take a group photo but now I know how to set the timer. Unfortunately not the most flattering picture.

We had planned a beach day today and were slightly disappointed the weather was overcast.  However not to be put off we packed a picnic and set off hopefully.  It was a bit overcast when we arrived but the sun eventually broke through the clouds and we enjoyed a lovely relaxing day.  I finished reading the book M had lent me but I wasn’t impressed - a chic lit which was a bit lacking in substance!  It was a bit windy so we didn’t swim but tucked ourselves behind a breaker and enjoyed the sun.

Home to water the tomatoes, a G&T and a couple of episodes of Channel 4 drama - The Undeclared War - really good, if not a bit troubling drama about cyber security.
