Portobello this morning so Joe could play footie and I could meander along the prom. Great to see wee Al again and catch up. Even though the updates weren’t all great.

Home again and then me and Mrs S headed out to Holyrood Architectural Salvage Yard where we bought a very large and very nice finial that will appear in the new garden layout at some point.

Back home to mooch about and try my camping kettle (more practice needed) while Ruby, Eve and Hannah went for a swim in the river.

Had a long overdue catch up with Red and then Ruby made dinner.
