Graduation Finally

After a delay of 2 years, DougsJB finally graduated today. A 1st Class Honours degree and mightily proud of him.

And it’s quite something to graduate in Politics on a day when politics is erupting in volcanic proportions.

Warwick did the celebrations brilliantly, having erected a huge igloo type thing for the 2 years of delayed graduations. It was high tech, light humoured, brilliantly organised, warm, enthusiastic and simply a delight.

It’s our 4th graduation day and they’ve all been so different, and I’m not just saying that. It was a unique day!

One highlight, other than DougsJB’s grin as he marched across the stage, was a funny ‘Gavin and Stacey’ style message from Ruth Jones, who is a Warwick graduate.

Happy day. Although it had a rather abrupt ending as bad traffic meant Elbows offloaded us to walk home or catch an uber, as he had a dinner in London he had to get to. {:-\
