Riding the Canal Towpath

I got the bike out to ride over to my mother-in-law's to do some chores for her this morning.  When I finished I thought I would go the long way home which took me onto the Essington and Wyrley Canal towpath.  It was only as I was riding along that I remembered that the last time I rode along this towpath, I ended up in the canal!

Thankfully nothing so dramatic happened this time, though I don't particularly riding along sections where there is just a narrow channel for the wheels to run along.  I did have one hairy moment when I was going under one of the bridges, only for another cyclist to be coming in the opposite direction.
