Sun Sparkles…

…on the canal. 
What a gorgeous day, sunshine and blue sky. We came to the boat earlyish and we’ve had a relaxing day. It’s been too hot to do much and I have stayed in the shade.
Frank went to buy the weekend paper so we’ve sat outside reading it - mostly about the week’s events at No 10. 
All those that supported and enabled Boris are now clambering to get the top job and making out that they are squeaky clean. We’ll see!

Skeletons

Look at the side-talkers
sitting behind their ‘leader’
whispering behind cupped hands
to avoid the lip readers
making out they abhor
his behaviour and his lies
but how many will escape
the media’s spying eyes
skeletons in their cupboards
will soon see the light of day
I just hope it’s before election
or we’ll be in trouble again
