Cheeeese Part 3...

...for Silly Saturday...

Our soft cheese from the cheese making course was ready to be picked up this weekend. If you didn't pick it up they just junked it, which is a shame, so we thought we'd have another cheesy day out ;) They send the hard cheese to you when it has matured, but I guess the soft stuff doesn't travel well...

We duly collected our cheeses - and bought even more - and then went up the narrow road to Feizor for a lovely lunch at Elaine's Tearooms. I had a proper steak pie and chips, and Roy's slice of gammon filled the plate. An ice-cream in Skipton just to complete the outing - market day so it was very busy. Loads more coffee shops and outdoor shops than we remember from when we used to come regularly - and the best outdoor shop by the canal is now under the auspices of Mike Ashley so we didn't go in!

A bit of a silly distance to travel for cheese, but we enjoyed the outing ;)
