Meet Millie!

She greets you as you go into our Central library in Bolton.  She is the product of Tamsin Burns who spent many hours watching and sketching the Elephants at Chester Zoo and the Bolton Rotary Club.  It fits in well with all the other elephants in Bolton!  

I took out an art book for the girls: DK, Art and how it works.  Perfect to look at with them during the holiday! Last week I took out : the story of paintings, a history of art for children by Mick Manning and Brita Granström.  It looks at so many paintings giving each a double spread.
