Phillippeon

This is the Philippeon at ancient t Olympia. I had no idea it was so huge. Thrilled to have seen it. This monument was commenced by Philip of Macedon and fi ished by his son, Alexander the Great. We also saw the workshop of the man who built the monument of Zeus, one of the wonders of the Ancient world, and the clay moulds he used for the robes.
