Going north

A very late blip for me. I've travelled up to Oldcotes in Notts to catch up with S. We first met back in 1988,, when I was posted to a rather obscure Government Department.  
After a spot of lunch we headed off to Brodsworth Hall and Gardens. The gardens were lovely and after having a good look round we went to look inside ( after a short break for a cup of tea ). Only the downstairs rooms were open but the volunteers were happy to explain the history. 
We've spent the evening chatting and generally catching up. 
I'm a bit too tired to comment so will catch up with them in the morning. 
My blip is from the Target House and looks out to where the family practised their archery skills.
