Pesky insects

The last two days at the cabin we have been invaded by pesky thunder flies or as they are known around here thunder bugs. Both days I’ve come home itching and needing a shower. Today I took citronella tea lights to see if they helped keep them at bay. No such luck.
The fence got replaced today. The men arrived at 8am and at around 12.30 hubby sent WhatsApp pictures of the finished fence. Very impressed with the work and the fact they re-attached our trellis and plants to the new fence.
