Key Stage 2 Sports

It was 27 degrees here today. We found a shady spot under the trees to watch our 9 year old’s Sports Day. Like his brother’s last week it was highly organised and greatly enjoyed by us all. (Our little athlete came first in his sprint and his house team were KS2 Champions!)

We enjoyed watching the Wimbledon men’s singles semi-final when we got home. Sadly Cameron Norrie didn’t quite make it, today. but he will be back!

Later, we sat in the garden enjoying our new garden and eating our evening meal. The garden is still “work in progress” but T has already worked horticultural wonders!

Today’s newspapers make very uncomfortable reading about Boris’ failed premiership. I don’t believe, for one moment that, he’ll care at all about that.

I have also written to our local Conservative MP who voted out Theresa May, and now Johnson, urging him to try to get it right this time. I am not holding my breath!

As a beautiful sunset ignited the western sky we watered the hanging baskets.
