The wood yard

We don’t use much new/reclaimed timber in our work, mostly the floors are already insitu and we just renovate what is there, but sometimes we need to source floorboards, blocks etc for some repairs.
So it was a trip down to the woodyard today. It’s about a 40 minute journey south of here, right on the side of the A1, although you’d never know it was there. The whole place from the outside would qualify for a derelict Sunday shot, but inside those sheds is a different story. Row upon row of floorboards, joists, beams, all in really good condition.
We made our selection, they will be cut to size for us and collected tomorrow.
We had planned to stop for lunch on the way home, but it was too flipping hot and we both wanted to just get home and slump in the cool.
