The end of a hot day

The weather is at last settling for a while.  I have been juggling between winter and summer duvets over the last couple of weeks but now I feel confident the summer heat has arrived!

We had the TB test results yesterday of the cattle and we have passed!  What a relief.  T is getting the machinery ready in good time for the harvest.  This year he will just be doing our own crops as we have finished taking the combine harvester five miles down narrow lanes and over the main road to another farm in Dorset where he has been contracting for the past six years.  This will relieve a lot of stress especially if the weather is unsettled, and we have now paid for the combine harvester.
