Ribbon Wave Moth

Fascinating and bizarrely a first for all of us, to be shown a Ribbon Wave Moth by two moth men, (lepidopterists apparently and nothing to do with Dr Who) who were sauntering around the reserve this morning, frantically waving large butterfly nets.
They have a very short lifespan, around 48hrs, so I was quite relieved when they set it free after our viewing.
