The Purple Loosestrife was looking especially beautiful today with the blue sky and fluffy white clouds reflecting in the river as a background.
A friend called round after lunch so we took our tea and sat down on the river bank putting the world to rights.   It was the coolest spot in the garden as the temperature reached 30 degrees this afternoon.
