New life

First of all, thanks to everyone who left such kind comments on yesterday's blip. This community is a great source of strength at a horrible time. Thanks.
We all expected to have more time with Jude, even if it was never going to be remotely like enough. We first heard of her diagnosis on Feb 16th, and all the news since then has gone from bad to worse.
She loved nature and biology and I'm sure would have been interested to see where the swans had finally decided to make their nest this year; same as for the last 2 years, but they took ages to make the final choice. She'd also have liked the addition of a white hard-hat to the decorations, I think...
