Bin troubles

We have had a bin strike for several weeks but there is still a backlog of collections. Remembered at 5am that I had not put the bin out and missing a collection would have been a disaster given the rubbish that has accrued. Went back to bed feeling that all would be well. Needless to say, no collection at all today! They say it could be up to three days late while they catch up. We will see.
