Restoration

When I was a wee girl in the '70s, my Grandpa made me a dolls house which I loved. It was nicely decorated and had working lights and I played with it all the time. Thirty odd years later, like many "properties" from that period, it's now in a state of slight disrepair and needs some restoration work done! I've been saying for a few years I'm going to do it up but have only ever got as far as stripping off the '70s wallpaper, repainting the roof and staircase and buying some new furniture! I did try to put up some new wallpaper a while back but I just don't seem to have my Grandpas touch - I really must give it another bash soon.

It originally had plastic windows (which are lying around somewhere) and today I caught Obi trying to poke his head through one of the window frames! I took the front off the house before he got his head stuck completely and he immediately jumped inside, had a wash, and then started playing with some of the dolls furniture! Good to see it being used again for a short while, even if it is by a cat!
