Barcelona Cathedral

Today was our first full day in Barcelona, although we actually arrived yesterday evening. I didn't take any photos yesterday because my camera battery needed to be recharged, but there will be photos from the rest of the trip! Today we oriented ourselves in the city, walked all over the place, got a feeling for the lay out. We are staying in our friend's apartment across from the Sagrada Familia, so a very prime location. This cathedral is just called the Barcelona Cathedral, but it's officially named in Catalan Catedral de la Santa Creu i Santa Eulàlia. Our lovely hostess gave us quite a long itinerary for tomorrow, so we have lots of good stuff to come: museums, beaches, castles, tapas, sangria, all that great Catalan stuff!
