What a day

Thought the window situation was sorted but no, after a long morning of no painter and a number of calls and promises I told them to forget about painting and finish the joinery, and leave.
The painter was actually very nice and apologetic but the job was bigger than he expected, he thought the paint was here and prep done, and he is on holiday from tomorrow.
Hubby got prep on outside done this afternoon and we will do it ourselves over the next few days, we can do the inside later if we run out of time. I told them finish the job tomorrow, adjust the invoice and you won’t be asked to do the rest of the house.
Been a difficult evening as baby just wouldn’t settle and I must have walked him round for a couple of hours. Daughter still finding it difficult to walk for any length of time and she took him for a long walk this afternoon.
Spotted the blip when I went out to collect washing off line.
