You need humour with a tumour

My first visit to Maggie's at Bart's. We were greeted by a very nice woman who offered us a cuppa and a biscuit. Then another lady explained what was on offer at the centre. After a bit of a chat, we realised we lived a couple of streets away from each other! It was a very pleasant experience in very pleasant surroundings. I shall be back there soon.

Otherwise, we had lunch out, followed by a review with my oncologist, who prescribed several lotions for my hands. The whole day went smoothly until I went to the pharmacy. As usual they had too much work and too few staff - so a long wait. Finally, we were relieved to get home.
