Bigland Tarn

Our last full day here in the Lakes and the weeks flown by. Today, we stayed local to the farm and we all went for a morning walk (see extras).

The girls didn’t want to walk much more as it was too hot so I went for a nice long walk cross the other side of the road past Bigland Tarn ( I found out a tarn is a small mountain lake). The views were stunning and I wished I could stay longer and explore more of the area. This is my kind of place.

After a final bbq dinner and some sports next to the lodge, we went for an evening walk around otter tarn which is our local lake / fishery.

Hot tub to round off the day and freshen up after a day of sun sun sun.
