Sunflower in Soft Focus

Using the soft focus mode on my xt20 I took a shot of this backlit sunflower in Loughborough Marketplace. It doesn't look very soft focus to me and I'd have been rather better off with a LensBaby.

Not much done today. I have still to write another email to Shell Energy berating them for trying to do us down on meters and charging. I think the fatigue is down to an unsettled night.

After visiting Aziz and hearing the woes about his collapsing roof, we went to Caffè Nero.

Aziz does have a point. His roof timbers were rotting away and the slates threatened to slide off. Because his house is of a certain age, he had to replace the slates like for like. Yorkshire slate tiles are not cheap.
