Mindi and I were delighted to have a visit from Lulabel this afternoon. For me it was a good excuse to go and have lunch in 'Perch', where I was looking forward to their pain perdu.

Alas, the business is under new management and having teething troubles. The menu has also changed, so we had the tomato and red pepper soup instead. It was an enormous bowl and very tasty.

From there we explored a new (to us) but very overgrown path into the forest, where there was no shortage of sticks for Mindi, and luckily it led us to a well-established path that we recognised.
