Different Perspective

Dear O'H dear & Lovely Tea Jenny,

I spoke to Mary Doll earlier today. She told me that her friend, Maeve has had a terrible time.

MD: “Maeve and Dan (her husband) had booked a holiday with Maeve’s daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. They were all at the airport, ready to go and Dan had a massive heart attack.”

Me: “OMG that’s awful.”

MD: “I know. So that was it - they just had to turn around and none of them got away”

Me (inside voice): “WTF?”

Me (outside voice): “Probably not the worst part of that situation for Maeve”.

MD: “Oh I know, he’s still in an induced coma.”

And they missed their holiday!
