We have a pretty massive upgrade of our IT infrastructure scheduled for this weekend. At one point they were talking about having no network connection at all until we pointed out that losing Pathology basically means losing all urgent and emergency care in the hospital.

The solution? A temporary network bridged in from another building and today was the test to see if that works before the big switch off at the weekend.

So far so good.....
