Medal!

This is the medal I was given as I crossed the finish line for the 5k walk I did in aid of Motor Neurone Disease. A friend and colleague sadly passed last year aged 41. One if the nicest, kindest, cleverest, inspirational, huge hearted people I think I will ever have had the pleasure to know.

Almost 900 girls/ladies took part tonight including his lovely wife. His mum was totally overwhelmed and when asked what she thought Alex would have thought of it she replied "he'd have said.. Too much fuss!"

His 3 boys started the race.

Total raised so far is £3000 and it's climbing!

Ankle is very sore but nothing compared to the pain his family have had to bear

Well done Garnock! Mr JA5K would have been proud!
