My giant lily

Having grown this giant lily, or Himalayan cardio giganteum, from a bulb this year I am very proud it has almost reached the maximum height for this plant 7ft 8 inches or 2.31 metres, a fraction below the maximum height for this plant.
This is despite having been grown in a container and south facing, contrary to what is recommended by the RHS. 

The secret is that I fed it. A lot.
