A busy day, first with some domestic catching up, and then with Eben's cheery company after school.
I was distracted all day, however, by the spectacle of what I hope are Boris Johnson's final hours as a disgraced prime minister. We need a general election, not just a transition to one of his equally unprincipled colleagues.
