Cheery Chops
My happy wee granddaughter, Bonnie, climbing on a cannon in St Andrews today.
I met up with Don and Bonnie today (Kate was working all day so couldn’t come through), and had a walk around town, stopping for coffees and lunch and photos of course. At lunchtime Bonnie studied the menu (Extra), and decided on crayfish macaroni cheese which she loved.
This was The look Bonnie gave her Dad when he explained she couldn’t have the lobster, she looked horrified, but of course had no idea what lobster is. Extra.
Bonnie is 14 months now and interested in everything and everyone, waving and saying “hiya” to total strangers. It’s great to see because these strangers then smile and happily reply.
Before they headed back to Edinburgh we walked down to the Old Course, where preparations are underway for the 150th Open Golf Tournament, and took some photos on the iconic Swilken Bridge on the Eighteenth Hole.
Extra. I think Bonnie had just told me a really funny joke.
