Cornflowers

The bluet or cornflower has the same significance as the poppy in terms of the commemoration of sacrifice in war. There are many of them out at the moment. I woke up this morning and the weather was worse than that forecast so I had to cancel today’s walk. Instead we invited two of the walkers around for morning coffee and had a pleasant morning with them. In the afternoon I went to my physio and then turned on the television to keep abreast of the fast moving events in Westminster.
