Scotch Argus (or not!)

Leaving to head towards the land of the butterflies tomorrow and so this appearing in our garden today was a bonus. Not something I think we will see in the Ardeche.
Otherwise one of those dull 'sorting things out to travel' days.

EDIT: A good example of how rubbish my butterfly identification is. It has been kindly pointed out to me that this is a Meadow Brown - somethnig in fact we will see in France. 'Must do better' would be the report.
