There be dragons

And this was a rather large one. 

A lovely walk around the gardens and nature trail at Middleton Hall. 

There were a few butterflies : one very elusive Comma, a few large whites, some gorgeous Ringlets, a Small Tortoiseshell.

My extra is of a creature in the lake. We thought it was probably not a “Tamworth dolphin”. (Joke). One theory was that it was one of the giant carp, coming up for flies…..
