International Sunday

We celebrated the nations that our church family represent today and it was brilliant.

We had 39 flags for the 39 nations and an overwhelming offering of foods from all over. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere celebratory. I’m so pleased because it took some planning and we’d like to make it a regular thing.

These laces, owned by the lovely young clarinetist, say it clearly! How could any of us not ‘smile’ … except perhaps our resident food hygiene specialist who had to watch on :-{

At our table, we had a Persian dish that was yum. I’d love to eat lots more of it.
