Goodbye #1

We had a small family memorial for Stevie today. I thought I was going to be ok, until we saw his coffin, but then I just couldn’t stop the tears. It was a beautiful and simple service, with people, and music, and flowers that he loved.
E provided a bit of much-needed levity as we walked behind the hearse as it drove away, asking, ‘are we looking for a better park?’.
