Plumbers

After an unpleasant night being woken every hour by the blood pressure cuff going off we had the plumber arriving to do our bathroom. It's our en-suite so they were in our bedroom as well as the bathroom.

They found that our soil pipe has been wrongly laid, which explains a lot. They have to get to the room underneath to sort it out so today (I am writing this a day late) there is nowhere to escape the noise.

The cats have to be kept apart so Bonnie is shut in the living room with all mod cons. Poor cat hates all the disruption. Rufus is allowed out but he isn't happy either. He gets cuddles before the plumbers get here while Bonnie has time in the garden.

We have two weeks of this.
