Ukraine, never forgotten by Scotland
Two yachts came together into the Caledonian Canal while we had our picnic lunch between various messages. A discussion occurred over the number needed to be called a convoy, or a flotilla. I think Mrs Oons said this should be called a pear. Sounded like that, anyway, and she used to read Hornblower.
The Ukranian flag was prominent, as it also is on so many buildings here, which our Ukrainian contacts appreciate *. The second yachtsman (see Extra) thinks an alteration to the red ensign is required. Some passers by concurred.
Meanwhile in London.
* though they appreciate NATO contributions of heavy artillery even more.
