Concentration

Conor is fascinated by this toy. He sat in his chair for at least an hour trying to bat its foot with his hand. He also managed to get one arm out of the strap and push himself up so that his left leg was almost out too. And he has barely slept today - 20 minute naps here and there. That's what Orla used to do, I was rather hoping I'd get one that was more fond of sleep this time.

Orla took the iPad to nursery today to show her teacher her Franklin Frog app, about the life cycle of frogs (they are hatching tadpoles in the nursery). She explained to her group how to use it and let all the boys and girls take a turn. She showed me the tadpoles and attempted to point out Tiny, who was the first one to hatch. She wasn't convinced when her teacher told her that Tiny was probably the biggest tadpole in the tank now.
