We didn’t expect that

So joiners turned up and worked so well all day. We now have the new glass in, they should be painted Thursday and they will finish the job by the end of the week.
Daughters partner expected home in time to take Ruby to vets but didn’t make it so I took her. She was quite upset as she had to have blood test, good news is she is fine.
Bad news is daughters partner has covid. So we now have daughter and grandson staying with us for a few days, well until he tests negative. She thought it was best get out before he got home.
Between leaving her this morning and going back for Ruby appointment I managed to pick up a colour chart and some sample pots, as we plan to decorate the room when the work is finished.
In other news the NHS has outsourced cataract clinic and I had a text say I could book an assessment for my other eye, so I did. Turns out it’s a telephone appointment, I don’t understand how they can assess the condition of my eye with a telephone appointment.
