Our late night around the fire (and maybe our moonshine nightcap) meant we both slept quite late this morning.

We’d bought pastries from a lovely bakery in Cirencester yesterday so we had them for breakfast on the riverbank. Our van neighbours had recommended a good pub so we headed there and parked before setting off on our big walk.

A couple of unintentional detours meant it took longer than planned, but it was a really nice walk. For most of it we didn’t see any other humans, but Pose got lots of new birds on her bird app. Looped back to the pub for some very well-deserved lunch.

Pose dropped me back at the station and I got back home at 6ish. Really lovely weekend.
