Turnberry Lighthouse

It was a lovely day, we headed down to Ayrshire, and had lunch at the lighthouse.  (Thanks for the tip, Shortygirl).  It was lovely, a Half Way House for the golfers, with a beautiful view out to sea, towards Arran and with Ailsa Craig in view.  They have a lovely terrace but it was quite windy so we sat inside beside the window and still had the views. Nice sandwiches and tea..... but expensive!  Worth it for the view though!

We walked along at Maidens afterwards and came back along the beach as we like to do.

As usual the HG talks to everyone and we had conversations with various people, including a group from New York (they lived right beside Brooklyn Bridge) and another family who were staying at a lodge at the Trump Hotel and said it was fabulous. He certainly has spent some money on the whole complex.  I won't enter into the political view though.

Put on an extra collage of the day.
